a. To avoid damage from static discharge, touch bare (unpainted) metal on the

system box before you touch anything inside the system.

b. To avoid damage from overheating, system covers must be in place when

running the system for extended periods of time.

1. Make sure the system is turned off and unplugged.

2. Facing the rear of the unit, locate and loosen the three thumbscrews that fasten the

top cover to the enclosure. Pull back on the cover (two or three inches), and lift the

cover up and away from the enclosure.
