Host Operation

Security tab

To authenticate the identity of the Master users who request a connection to the Host,

choose your preferred authentication method in the Security tab.

The following authentication methods are available:

 “Simple password configuration”

 “Windows authentication configuration”

 “Shared secret password authentication”

Simple password configuration

For authentication that does not require network-based credentials, use a simple

password to check the identity of the Master users who request access to your Host

computer. Select Allow connection with a simple password and enter the password you

would like to use to authenticate an incoming connection request.
